PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA – June 16, 2008 – Benesch is pleased to announce that Bradford J. Sandler has been appointed Co-Chair of the Special Projects Task Force of the Asset Sales Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
The American Bankruptcy Institute is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. ABI was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. The Asset Sales Committee studies asset sales and other issues arising from the liquidation of assets in and out of bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Sandler is a partner in the firm’s Business Reorganization Practice Group and is a member of the Diversity Committee. He has substantial experience in the representation of businesses in out of court reorganizations, and of debtors, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, purchasers, landlords, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees and post-confirmation plan administrators in business bankruptcies. Mr. Sandler also focuses on, and has substantial experience in, representing international and national businesses as well as entrepreneurs in corporate and commercial transactions.
