Benesch NY Office Continues Growth, Adding BigLaw Real Estate Partner David Hudson

Benesch, one of the fastest-growing firms on the AmLaw 200 list, is pleased to welcome David Hudson as a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in the firm’s expanding New York office. Dave focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters with an emphasis on joint ventures, recapitalizations, restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions across all asset classes.

“Dave’s depth of experience in complex real estate transactions makes him a great addition to our growing real estate group in the New York office,” said Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg. “As a seasoned real estate attorney, his background in private equity, joint ventures, and restructurings will further strengthen the group and enhance the services we provide to our clients.”

Dave represents real estate private equity fund sponsors and institutional investors in complex transactions. His work involves guiding asset and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions, as well as assisting with the structuring and formation of private investment funds, separate accounts, and joint ventures. Through these endeavors, Dave plays a pivotal role in ensuring that his clients successfully navigate the intricacies of high-stakes financial deals, demonstrating his deep experience and versatility in the industry. Prior to joining Benesch, Dave was counsel at King & Spalding LLP. He earned his J.D. from Emory University and his B.A. from Columbia University.

In June 2023, Benesch launched its Manhattan office with eight attorneys. Since then, the office has expanded by over 300%, primarily through the addition of attorneys from BigLaw.
